Pope Benedict called for all religions to unite against terrorism and resolve conflicts peacefully.

He stated:
“In a world threatened by sinister and indiscriminate forms of violence, the unified voice of religious people urges nations and communities to resolve conflict through peaceful means and with full regard for human dignity,”.

And although he meant to abolish any misconceptions about the “evilness” of the Muslim religion and unite through understanding... he somehow always seems to forget to scold the people that are causing all this comotion.

He said ” ...with full regards for human dignity” meaning that the malnurished, orphaned and robbed people of developing countries (such as afganistan) should be more “dignified” in attempting to fight the multimillion dollar machine that has been ravaging their country for decades.

Maybe he should take some time to talk about dignity to the governments and cooperationsthat: sell weapons and drugs instead of food, make children work for oil, take advantage of cheap labor in developing countries, increase oil and food prices when people are dying, etc. Maybe he should listen to the word of god a bit closer and find out that there nothing in there about gold palaces with great paintings and government deals for better cleric salaries.

If the Catholic, or any other church, is only there to support the illusion of rightousness we dont need them. We could have illusions without them. If on the other hand they really want to promote understanding, peace and prosperity for all man kind they should know that they will have very powerfull adversaries. Ones that they would either cower from as traitors would do or fight them for the good of us all.

WTF??? Stop fighting for their rights to accel and be better?
Sounds like Obama’s campaign motto.
Stay in your place and never strive to become better people.

This is the SAME MENTALITY as Obama where he feels the poor should be taken care of and never strive to change their own future. Very sad, very very sad and anti-Christ in all facets.

Christ aka ’Jesus’, says we should try to better ourselves so WTF does this Pope think he is pushing on the world?

The church has outgrown its pro-active use. Period.
